Stretch
Tear and stretch horizontal slices of your image — a brutal glitch effect that pulls pixels apart like torn paper or warped video tape.

About this effect
Stretch is the most aggressive glitch effect in the toolbox. It selects horizontal bands of the image and stretches them sideways — some slices pull right, some left, creating a violently torn, unstable look. The effect is reminiscent of severely damaged VHS tapes or corrupted video streams.
Control intensity (how far each slice stretches), the number of slices, and seed for reproducible patterns. At low intensity, stretch adds subtle horizontal tension; at high intensity, it can completely deconstruct the image. Pair with Data Glitch for maximum digital destruction.
