Edge Detect
Extract the outlines of your image using Sobel edge detection — turn photos into line art, sketches, or neon wireframe visuals.

About this effect
Edge Detect applies the Sobel operator — a classic computer vision algorithm — to find boundaries between contrasting regions in your image. The result is a line-art extraction: dark lines where edges exist, blank space where the image is smooth.
Adjust intensity to control line thickness and sensitivity. Pair with Duotone to give the wireframe a neon glow, or invert the result for a white-on-black chalkboard effect. Layer the edge output over the original image for a subtle illustration hybrid.
