About this effect

8-Bit color quantization reduces millions of colors to just a few, creating the harsh color banding characteristic of NES, Game Boy, and early PC graphics. Adjust the palette size from 2 (pure black and white) to 256 (subtle posterization). Dithering can be toggled to soften the transitions. At 4-8 colors, you get authentic Game Boy aesthetics. At 16-64 colors, it's classic 16-bit console territory. Pair with Pixelate for a complete retro gaming visual.
